Conducting LLN Assessments – How to Conduct Them Properly & Use the Information to Benefit Students – 2 part-series

14 October @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Most RTOs have a process by which students entering a course are assessed on their language, literacy and numeracy skills prior to entry into a course. Most trainers and assessors use these LLN assessments on a daily basis and yet many don’t really know how to conduct an LLN assessment properly or what to do with the information once they have conducted it. This two-part webinar series looks at why RTOs often have an LLN assessment process and what a robust LLN assessment process can tell you as a trainer and assessor about your student. We’ll look at some common LLN assessment outcomes and what you can do with this information to provide effective support for the student to help them achieve success.
This two-part webinar series will cover:

  • Why LLN assessment processes are built in to most RTO enrolment processes
  • What a good LLN assessment process should be able to tell you
  • What you can do with the results of a good LLN assessment process
  • How you know what sort of support to provide
  • Where can you go to for extra advice?

This is a two-part webinar series. Each part will run at the same time on the same day, over two consecutive weeks. The webinars will be held on:

  • Wednesday 14th October, 2020
  • Wednesday 21st October, 2020

At the end of this webinar series, you will receive:

  • Certificate of Attendance to add to your PD file
  • Copy of slides and any related handouts
  • Opportunity to ask questions of our expert
