About Shashi
Shashi started her career in the VET sector in 2001 by helping to build an award-winning RTO with multi-jurisdictional presence across Australia, where Shashi was responsible for overseeing the RTO’s operations across three interstate offices.
During her career, Shashi has held roles such as National Operations Manager, Compliance Manager and Industry Based Learning Manager in RTOs before she established RTO Advice Group with Jacqui Hodge in 2009.
Since 2009, Shashi has worked with a wide range of clients, setting up RTOs, working with RTOs on their operations, quality systems, best practice delivery and staffing requirements, as well as conducting internal audits for RTOs. Shashi has also been an auditor, conducting registration and compliance audits for Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA). Shashi is the driving force behind Eduworks Resources, a well-respected resource division of RTO Advice Group, that develops high quality resources for more than 10 different Training Packages, including Business Services and Financial Services. In 2013, Shashi also set up and registered Training Partners Australia, trading as RTO Leadership Institute, an RTO that now focuses on delivering high quality programs for the VET sector.
Shashi is the CEO of RTO Advice Group and oversees the day to day effective running of the company.
About Jacqui
Jacqui began her VET career in 1998 when she set up her own RTO. It quickly became a respected, award-winning provider of early childhood courses. On the sale of her RTO, Jacqui was appointed as a NARA Quality Consultant and auditor, assisting NARA-registered RTOs with RTO registration audits and general compliance issues. In 2010, Jacqui led the RTO Advice Group in securing a contract to provide audit panel services for the Victorian Registration & Qualifications Authority (VRQA). Jacqui and her team audited many VRQA registered RTO from this time until 2016.
Jacqui has been an RTO consultant since 2009 and loves to assist RTOs in achieving quality outcomes. Jacqui now has a wide range of clients working across Australia including domestic fee for service, government funded and CRICOS colleges delivering over a wide range of training packages. She has a practical and detailed knowledge for the various standards and funding contracts that RTOs are required to meet. She is well respected within the VET sector. Jacqui is a co-Director of RTO Advice Group and as well as working with clients is also involved in overseeing the day-to-day running of RTO Advice Group.
About Kylie
Kylie has a wide range of knowledge and experience within the recruitment industry, including all levels of recruitment from support roles to executive levels.
Having previously owned her own successful recruitment company Kylie now works with small to large RTOs and enjoys the challenges of recruitment.
She focuses on providing long-term successful placements, and ongoing client–candidate care and follow up. Kylie recruits for all roles across the RTO board, from junior RTO administration to senior RTO management.
About Kate
Kate is a VET professional who holds the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Kate worked for several years in the early childhood education and care industry, before moving into vocational education and training.
Kate has experience working in roles such as trainer/assessor, vocational placement coordinator, career consultant and instructional designer. Kate’s passion for developing practical learning and assessment resources over the past eight years has led to her moving into the role of Resource Development Manager here at Eduworks, where she is responsible for managing the team and overseeing the development, quality and timely completion of all projects.
About Brooke
Brooke began her career in the VET Sector 16 years ago as co-owner and managing director of Institute of Counselling & Community Studies where she oversaw and managed all of the day to day operations within the RTO. From compliance, HR/Staffing, timetabling, advertising and marketing and business development Brooke has done it all. Since selling the RTO in 2010 Brooke has gone on to work as the RTO General Manager for various RTOs around Melbourne. Brooke started at RTO Advice Group as a contract consultant in 2018 working with both our RLI team and RTO Advice team and has since become a full time staff member in January of 2020.
Brooke now works as one of our Quality Consultants supporting clients with RTO Set Up, Internal Audits and Health Checks, Compliance Management, Policy & Procedure Review, Addition to scope, Audit rectifications, Resource Development, TAS development and general consulting requirements.
Brooke holds the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development and the TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training.
About Natalie
Natalie began with RTO Advice Group five years ago as an administration officer. During her time with us Natalie has worked as Client Services Coordinator, Marketing Assistant and is now the Operations Coordinator. During her time with RTO Advice Group Natalie has developed a great understanding of the VET industry, RTO Learning and Assessment practices and Learning Management Systems Canvas, Moodle and EduworksLMS.
Natalie prides herself on having intimate knowledge of each and every product offered across all divisions and being able to answer any questions clients thrown at her.
Natalie is passionate about quality education and training practices within the VET sector and providing our clients with the best possible service and current knowledge and practices.
About Stacey
Stacey began her career working for 17 years in the Early Childhood Education and Care industry. During this time she spent 10 years working in local government supporting services to meet the industry standards and supporting students with their studies.
Stacey worked extensively with key stakeholders developing relationships with businesses in the local community. She prides herself on establishing long-lasting partnerships where clients can feel confident and reassured that she understands the client’s needs and provides current knowledge to support clients through each decision.
About Alana
Alana has been working in RTOs for 15 years, with a background in the sport, fitness and health area. In her roles as Learning and Development Coordinator, Academic Coordinator and Head of Fitness, she has developed training tools and resources for a variety of learning platforms in the ever-changing dynamic of adult education and School Based Training. Alana’s passion is for helping others, so creating material that trainers and learners find engaging, interesting and educational is always her main priority.
Additionally, Alana holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate III & IV in Fitness and Certificate III in Business. This helps her in understanding the qualifications that Eduworks Resources supports as Alana joins the Learning Design Project Team.
About Rhiannon
Rhiannon has an administration and editing background, currently specialising in proofreading.
She holds a Master of Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing from the University of Melbourne as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Philosophy.
Prior to working as Publishing Assistant for the Eduworks Resources team, Rhiannon worked in healthcare administration while completing her studies, as well as undertaking an internship with Busybird Publishing.
Rhiannon now focuses on the formatting and proofreading of our Eduworks products to ensure they are ready for dissemination.
About Amanda
Amanda is a publishing professional who began in the industry as a Desktop Publisher in the 1990s; working at both Deakin and Swinburn Universities. More recently she worked at a large trade publishing house, where she was responsible for a team of editors and a backlist of over 50 titles, ranging from daily newsletters to large 2,000 page annuals.
She has degrees in science and computing, and this led to her working closely with IT specialists to enhance and develop the XML publishing platforms.
Amanda loves her change in industry and focus. She is responsible for formatting and proofreading Eduworks products to get them ready for dissemination.
