Shashi Hodge

CEO & Director

Shashi started her career working as an administrator for an RTO while at university and has been working in the VET sector ever since. In her first role she helped build the RTO she was working for to a large, award-winning provider with presence across Australia. During her career she has held positions including National Operations Manager, Training Manager and RTO Chief Executive Officer. She has been working as an RTO consultant since 2009 helping a range of clients achieve their goals. Shashi is the Managing Director of RTO Advice Group and oversees the effective running of the company.

Jacqui Hodge

Consultant, Auditor & Director

Jacqui began her VET career in 1998 when she set up her own RTO. It quickly became a respected, award-winning provider of early childhood courses. On the sale of her RTO, Jacqui was appointed as a NARA Quality Consultant and auditor, assisting NARA-registered RTOs with RTO registration audits and general compliance issues. In 2010, Jacqui led the RTO Advice Group in securing a contract to provide audit panel services for the Victorian Registration & Qualifications Authority (VRQA). Jacqui and her team audited many VRQA registered RTO from this time until 2016.

Jacqui has been an RTO consultant since 2009 and loves to assist RTOs in achieving quality outcomes. Jacqui now has a wide range of clients working across Australia including domestic fee for service, government funded and CRICOS colleges delivering over a wide range of training packages. She has a practical and detailed knowledge for the various standards and funding contracts that RTOs are required to meet. She is well respected within the VET sector. Jacqui is a co-Director of RTO Advice Group and as well as working with clients is also involved in overseeing the day-to-day running of RTO Advice Group.

Kylie Brew

Recruitment Director

Kylie has a wide range of knowledge and experience within the recruitment industry, including all levels of recruitment from support roles to executive levels.
Having previously owned her own successful recruitment company Kylie now works with small to large RTOs and enjoys the challenges of recruitment.

She focuses on providing long-term successful placements, and ongoing client–candidate care and follow up. Kylie recruits for all roles across the RTO board, from junior RTO administration to senior RTO management.

Kate Laferlita

Resource Development Manager

Kate is a VET professional who holds the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Kate worked for several years in the early childhood education and care industry, before moving into vocational education and training. Kate has experience working in roles such as trainer/assessor, vocational placement coordinator, career consultant and instructional designer. Kate’s passion for developing practical learning and assessment resources over the past eight years has led to her moving into the role of Resource Development Manager here at Eduworks, where she is responsible for managing the team and overseeing the development, quality and timely completion of all projects.

Emily Hodge

Lead RTO Quality Consultant

Emily has been working in RTO compliance and administration for over 10 years. Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Emily has worked in a variety of roles in the VET industry, from student services, project and management support, through to systems development, sales and marketing.

Emily now specialises in helping organisations achieve and maintain ASQA registration, and has an in-depth understanding of the compliance, business and operational needs of RTOs. To enhance her skills Emily is currently completing the Graduate Diploma in VET Quality and Compliance Management and Diploma of Quality Auditing. She loves finding solutions to problems and building meaningful relationships with her clients.

Brooke Taylor

RTO Quality Consultant

Brooke began her career in the VET Sector 16 years ago as co-owner and managing director of Institute of Counselling & Community Studies where she oversaw and managed all of the day to day operations within the RTO. From compliance, HR/Staffing, timetabling, advertising and marketing and business development Brooke has done it all. Since selling the RTO in 2010 Brooke has gone on to work as the RTO General Manager for various RTOs around Melbourne. Brooke started at RTO Advice Group as a contract consultant in 2018 working with both our RLI team and RTO Advice team and has since become a full time staff member in January of this year.

Brooke now works as one of our Quality Consultants supporting clients with RTO Set Up, Internal Audits and Health Checks, Compliance Management, Policy & Procedure Review, Addition to scope, Audit rectifications, Resource Development, TAS development and general consulting requirements.

Brooke holds the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development and the TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training

Stephanie Szabo

Executive Assistant

Stephanie is an Executive Assistant with over 10 years of experience in administration and office management. She is passionate about learning new things and personal development, and holds a Diploma in Business Management, as well as Bachelors in Health Science and Psychology.
An enthusiastic team player, willing to lead or follow and self-motivated. She has a strong ability to streamline processes, maximize efficiency, and foster professional relationships within organisations.
Stephanie is an expert at organisation, and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

Natalie Hodge

Marketing Assistant

Natalie began with RTO Advice group four years ago as an administration officer. During her time with us Natalie has since worked as Client Services Coordinator and is now the Marketing Assistant. During her time with RTO Advice Group Natalie has developed a great understanding of the VET industry and RTO Assessment practices. Natalie is passionate about quality education and training practices within the VET sector and providing our clients with the best possible service and current knowledge and practices.

Dani Kline

Consultant Support Officer

Dani has worked in administrative and customer service based roles for over twelve years in legal, medical and education settings. She holds a Certificate IVin Business Administration and a Diploma of Leadership and Management.

Dani started her career in the VET Sector four years ago as a Student Administration Officer at a small regional TAFE in North West Victoria. Dani progressed to the role of Team Leader – Customer Service where she managed a small team who processed enquires and enrolments. Dani’s passion for the VET Sector was ignited in this challenging role and her focus was on providing quality customer service to prospective students and stakeholders alike.

Dani moved to Melbourne in early 2019 and was keen to continue working in a role that supported the VET Sector as she understands the challenges RTO’s face with compliance in various areas.

Jeannie Lee

Client Liaison Officer

Jeannie began her journey to RTO Advice via several years of client-facing and administrative roles in the Tertiary education and RTO sectors. Having also learned something about Sociology, Art and Culture at university, she set out to meet people and see more of our planet beyond the worlds of lecture theatres and offices. Returning from an extended exploration of the urban jungles of South America, Jeannie found a role as the Client Liaison for our Eduworks department, where she hopes her openness, curiosity and commitment great customer service may do some good.

Rhiannon Raphael

Publishing Assistant

Rhiannon has an administration and editing background, currently specialising in proofreading.

She holds a Master of Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing from the University of Melbourne as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Philosophy.

Prior to working as Publishing Assistant for the Eduworks Resources team, Rhiannon worked in healthcare administration while completing her studies, as well as undertaking an internship with Busybird Publishing.

Rhiannon now focuses on the formatting and proofreading of our Eduworks products to ensure they are ready for dissemination.

Rebekah Szabo

Junior Administration Assistant

Rebekah is a Junior administration assistant with experience in administrative roles predominantly in the medical field. She has had over 8 years of experience working in customer service roles and excels at ensuring everything is running smoothly and efficiently. She loves working with people and making sure things stay organised. Rebekah holds a degree in Nursing and certificates in Business Administration. She also enjoys spending her free time with her two dalmatians and going to the gym.
