Exemption/Grace Period Applications due 31 December 2013

 

In accordance with the National VET Provider Collection Data Requirements Policy all RTOs must collect and report on AVETMISS data from 1st January 2014.

Depending on your circumstances you may be eligible for:

A 12 month grace period – for RTOs who need more time to establish systems and procedures. This additional time may be needed to upgrade or purchase compliant software, update business processes and enrolment forms and/or train staff.

A full exemption – for RTOs delivering in the areas of national security, border protection and policing, vital emergency, fire, first-aid, rescue or like services.

A partial exemption –  for enterprise RTOs as identified on Training.gov.au or RTOs delivering short stand-alone units as identified in Appendix 1 of the policy (click here).

Exemptions and grace period arrangements are only available on application and fully complete and correct applications must by your registering body by 31 December 2013.
