Following a review undertaken by the AQF council, the following decisions have been made that will affect specific Certificate and Diploma qualification types:
- Vocational Graduate Certificate and Vocational Graduate Diploma types will no longer be a part of the AQF
- Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma qualifications will be retained in the AQF for both VET and higher ed. Sectors
Implementation and transition arrangements will be published along with the AQF First Edition July 2011 later in 2012, however enrolment in revised qualification types will likely begin from January 2013.
