If you applied for a Skills First contract to deliver government-funded training in Victoria under the Skills First contract in 2017, the Department has already started conducting their performance reviews.

Our experience so far is that RTOs are contacted by the Department and  only given 1-3 days’ notice of the performance review.

Some of our clients have had theirs already and we have helped them prepare. It is crucial that your performance review goes well if you want to be a contracted RTO in 2017.

We urge you to prepare for yours now!  We are offering our assistance to clients who have submitted applications.

The amount of assistance required will vary from client to client but we suggest a detailed review of the following:

  • Training and Assessment Strategies
  • Industry engagement records
  • Training, assessment and delivery resources
  • Facilities and equipment
  • Marketing materials
  • Staff files
  • Pre-training review processes and documents
  • Complaint and appeals processes and records
  • Training plans

To discuss how we can help you prepare, get in touch with us now by emailing info@rtoadvice.com.au or calling 1300 676 870.

It’s best that you prepare early so there is time to implement changes if required.
